There are good people in this world.
Yesterday Joey Cheek won the gold medal in the men's speed skating 500m race. He is donating his winnings to help the children of Darfur, Sudan. I think this is an amazing thing. Then the Chinese pair's figure skating team of Zhang and Zhang suffered a big fall at the begining of their program, stopped, regrouped and actually continued their program. Actually they went on to win silver. That display of courage that level of sportsmanship shown by Joey Cheek and Zhang and Zhang is what the olympic spirit is all about.
