so apparently chuck & larry beat harry potter and the order of the phoenix at the box office this week. and I’d say that has a bit more to do with the fact that all harry potter fans were READING all weekend rather than chuck and larry's potential finer qualities. if the HP fans havent seen OotP already, they’ll go after they reach page 759.

of course I saw the new movie last week at midnight when it opened, I’m up to page 554 so far and although chuck and lary looks amusing, is no match for my harry. :)

HP7... deathly hallows arrives on bookshelves (and into my hand) at 12:01 tonight and i am so incredibly excited, anticipatory and terrified at the same time it's hard to reconcile. what will happen? will harry die? will he an ginny get back together? what and where are the horcruxes? my plan is to get my book and get the hell out of the store as quickly as possible. i dont want to be spoiled and i'm terrified that i'll know what happens before it happens. bad bad. we'll never have the excitement of a new book, an unfinished story again... but at the same time... we'll know. and we'll be able to read and re-read as many times as we want. right?

July is upon us and in my world that's Harry Potter Month. move comes out this week. book in just under 2 weeks. and in honor of this NBC30 has put together a (in my opinion) INCREDIBLY EASY quiz for all you Potterfiles out there. so here it is. good luck. as usual post your score below. if anyone is interested i got a perfect score.
