so... my first roommate in college watched Days (that's day's of our lives for you folks not 'in the know'). every day i'd come home from class and there would be 6 or 7 girls crammed into my room watching Days... and i started paying attention. by November i was hooked. Why am i telling you all of this?? Because due to some particularly shitty writing i kind of stopped watching last spring. I couldnt help it, my patience had waned. I wanted to want to watch, i just couldnt muster the energy. I tried watching an episode here and there and foudn it so sickingingly awful that i had to turn it off. Anyway... an internet friend of mine came to me in early january and said "are you watching yet?? you have to watch tomorrow's episode." i trusted her and it paid off. The new head writer has really turned the show around and i have REALLY been enjoying the storylines. miracle of miracles the show is GOOD.
Now i know not everyone reading this blog will be happy about this. C - i know you're disappointed. (She jumped ship years ago and hasnt given it a backwards glance). However, Lumi (Lucas and Sami) have a really good story going, the boring stupid people are gone and oh, did i mention... Lumi have a really good story. hehe.
anyway, i'm happily taping and watching every day now. and looking forward to the next episode. With the craziness that is my life these days... i can afford to have a happy diversion like this.
