Did you know that today is earth day? i used to know things like that. I thought it was a disgrace when i came to work right out of college and found that my company didnt recycle the REEMS of white paper we produce and throw away every day. so happy earth day everybody!
Just so you all know, i spent last night cleaning my kitchen to within an inch of it's life in preparation for this miserable holiday called... Pesach! Why did we have to leave Egypt in such a damn hurry!? So i came home from work last night and got to scrubbing counter tops, cleaning out my fridge and stashing my chametzdik stuff all over the kitchen and out of sight. At 9:45 i called it quits (while my oven was still self cleaning) and went over to Janet's where she was still cleaning her kitchen. My parents were still working on there's while Laura had finished her's before me and gone to bed. Lucky her! So at 10:45 i left Janet's and went home were i decided it would be a good time to color my hair. What was i thinking? so at 12:15 i finally got into bed. I'm tired... but my kitchen is beautiful!
On a funny note... I saw this hyseterical animation about pesach and more specifically "matzah". check it out. you'll laugh. :) anyway...
Chag Sameach? (as J said to me today "i would wish you a chag sameach, but for this holiday..." not so much a sameach chag.)
