So i promised halloween pics of me dressed up like elphaba. Here they are...
i sure was green wasn't i? Most people didnt "get" the elphaba nametag, but what do they know? guess the majority of ranch-goers havent read the book.
dancing on the whole was fun. It was good to get out on the floor and do some of my favorites again. but to be honest, being back at the ranch felt... weird. i don't belong there. maybe it was that it was so close to the election and my tolerance for hick misguided patriotism was nil. or maybe it's just that i've moved on. i'm guessing it's a combination of both. either way, it was nice to see some friends and dance a few dances... but i'm a different me than i used to be.
